An international law firm with a demonstrable commitment to innovation is looking to add a Product Owner to their Solutions practice. The candidate will work with the firm’s team of software engineers to take ownership of the building and delivery of bespoke solutions to bring additional value to the firm’s clients. Flexible working on offer, and partner-level sponsorship and mentoring will also be a part of the package. For this role, Bristol is the preferred location but the client is open to compromise on the understanding that regular visits to the Bristol office will need to be made.

The Role

Product Management

  • Accountable for the quality of the products delivered to the firm’s clients
  • Participate in the definition of product strategy, developing a clear idea of what the clients are looking for
  • Development of success metrics and measurement
  • Evolution of current new product launch and training processes

Product Marketing

  • Establish close working relationships with team marketing resources to support them in the development of relevant materials
  • Identify relevant case study opportunities or new products to the team
  • Support in any client marketing by establishing yourself as the owner and expert of the way the team develops best in class products

Consultation

  • Establish great working relationships with the team, be open, friendly and engaging
  • Proactively work with the team to identify new client needs or possible evolutions of existing products

The Candidate

As well as having a passionate interest in product development, the client needs someone who has:

  • Experience in leading or owning the development of technology products in previous roles
  • Capable of showing the importance of customer experience
  • Evidence of direct client or customer engagement
  • Clear evidence of senior stakeholder experience
  • Comfortable engaging with people and leading client facing conversations
  • Willing to fail, learn and improve ideas and solutions
  • Be curious, creativity and have a desire to change things for the better
  • Be invested in delivering a high quality client experience
  • Active and supportive team member that looks to contribute to a healthy team dynamic
  • Be an active wellbeing and mental health advocate
