A leading LegalTech vendor in APAC is looking to expand into EMEA and needs a General Manager to build a team from scratch. Your target market will be professional service firms, and you will lead a cross-functional team to drive the business forward. Base, variable element and stock options on offer, an excellent opportunity not only to take this company into a new region but also to set the culture of your team.

The Role

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to build and grow the business in the market. This includes aligning with launch objectives, growing the pipeline and increasing brand equity
  • Seek out opportunities for accelerate the business, be it through sales, partnerships, marketing or other means
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, with a focus on optimising team effectiveness and productivity
  • Recruit, onboard and manage a growing team to achieve sales, increase market-awareness and meet business objectives
  • Develop and manage budgetary and resource requirements
  • Establish and enforce organisational policies, guidelines and processes, with support from the HQ team
  • Perform other additional duties and responsibilities as required

The Candidate

  • Proven B2B SaaS experience in a managerial role; start-up experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying cadences, while being on top of deliverables and timeline
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team, while holding them accountable
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
