Our client is an established vendor with blue chip clients looking to expand into the exciting CLM space, aggressively targeting the SME market with an offering for in-house legal & business teams. They are looking for an Account Executive with experience selling (ideally LegalTech) to the corporate market and has a book of contacts that will let them start building their pipeline on day one. Good compensation on offer, as well as equity in the business.

The Role

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, with a focus on qualifying and closing leads
  • Carry out demos and assess mutual fit quickly while providing prospects with a delightful experience
  • Know the competitive landscape and help leads understand different solutions
  • Grow and maintain relationships with decision makers and budget holders
  • Proactively loop your feedback and experience into marketing and inbound lead generation 
  • Work with customer success to maximise usage, retention and upsell opportunities
  • Lead and contribute to projects to develop and refine our sales process
  • Share feedback and input into our Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy
  • Work in a team with deep domain knowledge of legal-tech and contract-lifecycle-management to exceed targets and celebrate wins

The Candidate

What we are looking for:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in B2B software sales, with track record of achieving targets
  • Experience selling to small & mid-size businesses
  • Ability and motivation to prospect and source deals, and contribute to culture of pipeline generation
  • (Desirable): Experience in a start-up business
  • (Desirable): Legal-tech and CLM experience
  • Ability to empathise with prospects, develop a shared understanding and match it with our product and vision
  • Dedicated to delivering customer success 
  • Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organisation
  • Track record of navigating multiple personas and departments within target organisations to find decisions makers with budget
  • Experience in using metrics to report out to senior managers and the C-suite
  • High energy and proactivity to improve yourself and the company beyond just your role and targets
